Directors’ Cybersecurity Masterclasses

Free to attend masterclasses on the real nature of cyber threats, provided by the Security Awareness Special Interest Group (SASIG)

Recent cyber security breaches have highlighted that there is no hiding place in cyberspace, we are all on the front line. A powerful alliance of CIPD, Cifas, BT, The National Archives and DCMS has come together under the auspices of the renowned Security Awareness Special Interest Group (SASIG) to brief business directors on the real nature of the cyber threat, and immediate steps to defend their organisations.

There is no charge to attend the following Directors’ Cybersecurity Masterclasses:

o   Masterclass 1 – 30 Nov 15 at the BT Centre London, 09.30am to 12.30pm

o   Masterclass 2 – 30 Nov 15 at the BT Centre London, 13.30am to 16.30pm

o   Masterclass 3 – 1 Dec 15 at The National Archives, Kew 10.00am to 1.00pm

They are reaching out to those who so far find themselves uninformed about cyber security, but who recognise that it is a subject they need quickly to learn about. The agenda will include the true nature and scale of cybercrime, the UK Government’s Cyber Essentials Scheme, minimumtechnical measures that are needed, staff education and awareness, and responding to a cyber breach.

Register your interest in attending by emailing Francesca.collins@thesecurityco.com or by calling +44 (0)1234 707026.  Please indicate which Masterclass you wish to attend; with numbers limited, it is advised that you reply promptly if you do wish to take part in this initiative
