Job: Public Affairs Analyst – Energy Company

This well known, highly regarded international energy company is making a strategic hire of a Public Affairs Analyst. The Analyst will work across the External Affairs function providing political intelligence and guidance on policy issues. They will provide a deep understanding of the political risks that the organisation will face and engage with senior management to mitigate these risks.

The candidate will be responsible for a wide range of outcomes and key objectives including:

• Monitoring and identifying long term public policy, political risk and legislation.
• Develop and implement tactical and strategic communications plans with a wide variety of national and international stakeholders within public policy, diplomatic and industry circles.
• Engage and inform across the business, providing strategic counsel to senior management in mitigating political risks.
• Maintain awareness of external events within the public policy environment.
