Government departments

  • Department for Exiting the European Union: Oliver Robbins is the Permanent Secretary, Sarah Healey is Director-General, Creon Butler is Director of Analysis, Chris Jones is Director of Justice, Security and Migration, Joanna Key is Director of Strategy and Planning, Antony Phillipson is Director of Trade and Partnerships, Tom Shinner is Director of Cross-Government Policy Coordination and Catherine Webb is Director of Market Access and Budget.
  • Ministry of Justice: Courts and Tribunals Judiciary - Mark Lucraft to become Chief Coroner from October, replacing Peter Thornton.
  • Foreign and Commonwealth Office: Jane Owen has been appointed Her Majesty's Ambassador to the Swiss Confederation and non-resident Ambassador to Liechtenstein.
  • Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation: Phil Beach appointed as Interim Executive Director, replacing Jeremy Benson.

  • Lord Goff of Chieveley (Crossbench, life peer) died on 14 August 2016.
