  • Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy: UK Atomic Energy Authority – Ian Chapman appointed as Chief Executive; Teaching Excellence Framework – Chris Husbands named as the first Chair
  • Department for Culture, Media and Sport: British Museum – Nigel Boardman reappointed as Trustee to the Board; Gambling Commission – Philip Graf had his term as Chair extended until September
  • Department for Work and Pensions: Pensions Regulator – Nicola Parish appointed as Executive Director for Front-Line Regulation
  • Office of Communications – Kevin Bankhurst appointed as Content Group Director.

    • Eden Council – Thomas Sheriff elected for Alston Moor – Liberal Democrat gain from Conservative.
    • Newcastle-under-Lyme Council – Gareth Snell elected for Silverdale and Parksite – Labour gain from Newcastle Independent Group.
    • Nottinghamshire Council – Francis Purdue-Horan elected for Bingham – Conservative hold.
