  • David Davis resigned as secretary of state for exiting the European Union.
  • Boris Johnson resigned as secretary of state for foreign and commonwealth affairs.
  • Steve Baker resigned as parliamentary under-secretary of state at the Department for Exiting the European Union.
  • Conor Burns resigned as PPS to the foreign secretary.
  • Chris Green resigned as PPS to the secretary of state for transport.
  • Jeremy Hunt named as the secretary of state for foreign and commonwealth affairs (formerly secretary of state for health).

  • European Scrutiny Committee – Martyn Day replaced Douglas Chapman as a member.
  • Public Accounts Committee – Douglas Chapman replaced Martyn Day as a member.

  • Cabinet Office: Social Mobility Commission – Martina Milburn endorsed to become chair.
  • Department for Transport: High Speed 2 Ltd – Terry Morgan appointed as chair.
  • Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport: Victoria and Albert Museum – Kavita Puri appointed as a trustee.
  • Ministry of Justice: Prison Service Pay Review Body – Leslie Manasseh reappointed to the body.
