  • Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport: Royal Albert Hall Council - John Whittingdale appointed as a trustee; Sport England - Tim Hollingsworth named as chief executive, replacing Jennie Price in November.
  • Department of Health and Social Care: Public Health England - Julia Goodfellow appointed as chair of the advisory Bboard.
  • Department for International Development: Independent Commission for Aid Impact - Tamsyn Barton selected as the preferred candidate to succeed Alison Evans as Commissioner.
  • Department for Transport: Maritime and Coastguard Agency - Brian Johnson appointed as Chief Executive, replacing Alan Massey on 31st October.
  • Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy: UK Research and Innovation - Sam Stacey appointed as Challenge Director for Transforming Construction and Roger McKinlay as Challenge Director for Quantum Technologies.

  • Local Democracy and Boundary Commission for Wales - Theodore Joloza and Julie May reappointed as members.

  • North Ayrshire Council - Elma Murray to retire as chief executive later in the year.

  • Sevenoaks Council – Brian Carroll elected for Farningham, Horton Kirby & South Darenth -  Conservative hold. (Ingrid Tennessee disqualified for non-attendance).

  • RNLI - Paul Boissier to retire as chief executive in 2019.
