Boles: Hilton was a ‘zealot’

Steve Hilton, the former adviser to the PM, was a “zealot” and a “disruptive voice” in government, planning minister Nick Boles has said.

Speaking last week, Boles said Hilton realised “that his role was to be the disruptive voice. By God did he succeed at that, but the truth is we’re an old country with lots of history and inheritance and teachings and responsibilities, and they’ve got to be managed.”
