LSE: Get better at infrastructure

The London School of Economic’s Growth Commission has called on the government to create an Infrastructure Strategy Board to “provide independent expert advice to Parliament to guide strategic priorities”; an infrastructure planning commission to support the implementation of those priorities; and an infrastructure bank.

Writing in CSW (see opinion), the commission said these measures are necessary due to “years of inadequate long-term investment in skills, infrastructure and innovation”.
