Parliament ‘bomb scare’ a “false alarm”

Portcullis House was evacuated this morning after a “suspicious” looking item was found.  Police have since told CSW this was a “false alarm” and people have been allowed back into the building.

According to The Telegraph, people were being turned away from Portcullis House, an office building used by MPs and their staff, at around 9:30am this morning.

The evacuation occurred after a “suspicious” item was found but police have stated that there is no cause for concern and the evacuation was a “false alarm.”
