Colin Talbot speaks to professors Mete Yildiz and Zafer Sahin about how the Turkish government is responding to Covid-19, as it tries to “keep the economic wheels turning” despite the pandemic

Mete Yildiz, professor of public administration and policy at Hacettepe University, and Zafer Sahin, professor of local government and citizen planning at Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University, tell Colin Talbot about the controversial debates happening in Turkey over coronavirus testing and a government drive to “keep the economic wheels turning” rather than implementing a full lockdown.

This interview is part of Colin Talbot's interview series Governments vs the virus, looking at responses to coronavirus around the world.
