As part of October’s Cyber Security Awareness Month, BT is sharing their top tips on how keep information secure for both you and your organisation 


Cyber crime is big business, and it’s becoming more of a threat every day, as more and more people and devices connect to the internet.

The chances of a business or an individual becoming a victim have never been greater.

But the basics help. Being vigilant, sufficient training and being aware of how criminals work, is just as important as the technology you use. The National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) believes that getting the essentials right will block a significant number of attacks, and help make criminals look elsewhere for their quick profit.

Things like keeping software up to date, using decent passwords, and having simple backups.
