New cash pot for cyber-crime

The government’s online safety initiative, Get Safe Online, is to receive a further £400,000 of funding in a bid to improve the UK’s knowledge of cyber-security threats.

Cabinet minister Francis Maude told Estonia’s International Centre for Defence Studies he would “tackle the challenges” and “exploit the immense opportunities” of the cyber revolution.
