Brennan to be new MoJ chief

Ursula Brennan, the permanent secretary of the Ministry of Defence (MoD), will become the new permanent secretary at the Ministry of Justice, it was announced yesterday.

Brennan starts in the role on 2 July. Her role at the MoD will be filled on an interim basis by Tom McKane, the department’s director general for security policy.
