Government departments

  • Ministry of Defence: AWE (Atomic Weapons Establishment) Board - John Manzoni to become chair when the body becomes an NDPB in July and will work with the MoD and the Board during the transition period.
  • Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy: Andrew Griffith MP appointed as UK Net Zero Business Champion.

Non-Ministerial Departments

  • HM Revenue & Customs: Joanna Rowland appointed as director general, transformation business group.
  • Ofwat: Nicola Bruce, Seems Kennedy, Jonathan Kini and David Jones appointed as non-executive directors.

Parties

  • Labour Party: Jeremy Corbyn readmitted to the party but has not had the Whip restored in Parliament.

Devolved Authorities

  • Northern Ireland Government: NI Housing Executive – Chris Welch and Pauline Leeson named as board members.
  • Scottish Parliament: Scottish Conservatives - Oliver Mundell resigned as shadow cabinet secretary for rural economy and tourism.
  • Northern Ireland Assembly: Gerry Kelly and Jim Wells to become temporary Deputy Speakers.

Local Authorities

  • Neath Port Talbot Council - Karen Jones replaced Steve Phillips as chief executive.
