  • Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy: Carolyn McCall, Kathryn Parsons, Stephen Carter and Stuart Quickenden have been appointed as non-executive board members.
  • The Insolvency Service: Stephen Allinson appointed as Chair.
  • Department for Culture, Media and Sport: The Wallace Collection - Dounia Nadar, Eric Ellul, Jemima Rellie and Marilyn Berk appointed as Trustees; Royal Parks – Bronwyn Hill appointed as Trustee; Gambling Commission – Walter Merricks reappointed as Commissioner; British Tourist Authority - Steve Ridgeway to replace Christopher Rodrigues as Chair from April; VisitEngland – Denis Wormell to replace Penny Cobham as Chair from April; Tate – Maria Balshaw to become the new Director.
  • Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs: Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board – Peter Kendall reappointed as Chair; Natural England – Andrew Sells reappointed as Chair.
  • Foreign and Commonwealth Office: Thomas Reilly has been appointed Her Majesty's Ambassador to the Kingdom of Morocco.
  • Department for Transport: Maritime and Coastguard Agency – Doug Barrow appointed as Director of the UK Ship Register.

  • Ofsted – Luke Tryl named as the new Director for Corporate Strategy.

House of Lords

  • Lord Mackay of Drumadoon (Life Peer, Crossbench) retired on 17th January.

Devolved Authorities

  • Northern Ireland: Equality Commission for Northern Ireland - Michael Wardlow reappointed as Chief Commissioner.

  • Bromsgrove Council: Michael Webb elected for Norton – Conservative hold.

  • Hume Brophy – Pete Murray joined as Director of Corporate Affairs.
  • Pagefield – Oliver Foster replaced Mark Gallagher as Chief Executive.
  • Railway Industry Association - Darren Caplan has become Chief Executive, replacing Jeremy Candfield.
