From its Victorian origins as a benevolent fund to its modern role as a confidential provider of wellbeing and financial advice, your Charity has remained rooted in a sense of mutual duty. In 2024 alone, we helped a civil servant every 15 minutes through 74,000 instances of help.
A future built on service
As we mark our 140th Anniversary, we are not merely looking back at our history; we are looking forward. The challenges of public service are changing, and the Charity must evolve to remain relevant for this and future generations. To do this, we need to hear from you.
Today, we are launching Survey 140, the most comprehensive study of the civil service community in our history. Developed in collaboration with our partners at Newton, this future-focused consultation is designed to get to the heart of the issues you face today. Being at the heart of the Civil Service community means we "get" the context in which you operate, but we need your direct input to ensure our support hits the mark.
A few moments to shape a legacy
We are calling on all civil servants to take a few moments to complete the survey. Your responses—including the free-text sections—are entirely anonymous and will provide the data we need to ensure the Charity remains a robust resource for decades to come.
By participating, you are upholding a 140-year tradition of civil servants looking out for one another. Help us ensure that your umbrella of support remains strong, responsive, and ready for whatever the future holds.
