Government deparrtments

  • Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport: Historic Royal Palaces – Camilla Finlay appointed as a trustee.
  • Department for Transport: Crossrail International – Keith Wallace to become Chair in July.
  • Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs: Consumer Council for Water - Bev Keogh, Jeff Halliwell, Rachel Onikosi and Lisa Tennant appointed as Non-executive Directors.
  • Department of Health and Social Care: Vaccine Taskforce – Richard Sykes named as chair.
  • HM Treasury: Prudential Regulation Authority – Sam Woods reappointed as chief executive and deputy governor of the Bank of England with responsibility for Prudential Regulation.
  • Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office: Jane Miller has been appointed British High Commissioner to the Republic of Guyana and Her Majesty’s Non-Resident Ambassador to the Republic of Suriname.

Devolved Authorities

Northern Ireland Assembly

  • Gordon Dunne retired as DUP MLA for North Down, and his son Stephen Dunne will be co-opted in his place to become the next MLA on 20th June.
  • Paul Givan and Michelle O’Neill confirmed as First Minister and Deputy First Minister.

Northern Ireland Government

  • Regulation and Quality Improvement Authority: Christine Collins had had her term as Acting Chair extended to March 2022.

Scottish Government

  • Dorothy Bain and Ruth Charteris appointed as lord advocate and solicitor general for Scotland.

Local Authorities

  • Uttlesford District Council – Rob Tinlin to become interim head of paid service and chief executive on 1st July, before Dawn French stands down at the end of August.
  • Inverclyde Council – Louise Long to replace Aubrey Fawcett as chief executive in September.
