  • Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport: National Citizen Service Trust – Brett Wigdortz reappointed as chair.
  • Cabinet Office: Senior Salaries Review Body - Martin Read had his appointment as Chair extended until May.
  • Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office: Antony Phillipson has been appointed British High Commissioner to the Republic of South Africa in succession to Nigel Casey from July; Becks Buckingham has been appointed British Chargé d’Affaires ad interim at the British Embassy in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela from August; Simon Shercliff has been appointed Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Iran; Mark Bryson-Richardson has been appointed Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Republic of Iraq in succession to Stephen Hickey from July.
  • Ministry of Justice: Justin Russell has been reappointed as Her Majesty's Chief Inspector of Probation.
  • Department for Work and Pensions: Pension Protection Fund - Kate Jones to become chair on 1 July.
  • HM Treasury: Monetary Policy Committee – Catherine Mann appointed as an external member, and Jonathan Haskel reappointed.
  • Department for Education: Ofqual – Jo Saxton named as preferred candidate to be Chief Regulator.

Non-Ministerial Departments

  • UK Statistics Authority: John Aston appointed as a non-executive board member.

Local Authorities

  • West Somerset and Taunton Council: James Hassett is to stand down as chief executive.
  • Inverclyde Council: Louise Long to become chief executive on 19 September, replacing Aubrey Fawcett.
