  • Ministry of Justice
    • Civil Procedure Rule Committee - Jonathan Klein has been appointed as a barrister member.
    • Youth Justice Board – Lin Hinnigan is to step down as Chief Executive in the summer.
    • National Security Directorate – Paul Wiles replaced Alastair MacGregor as Biometrics Commissioner.

Foreign and Commonwealth Office

  • Antony Stokes has been appointed Her Majesty's Ambassador to the Republic of Cuba.

Non-Ministerial Departments

  • Ofsted – Amanda Spielman appointed as Chief Inspector, replacing Michael Wilshaw.

House of Lords

  • Lord Leach of Fairford (Conservative, life peer) died 12 June 2016.
  • Lord Fowler elected as Lord Speaker, replacing Baroness D’Souza from September.
  • Licensing Act 2003 Committee – Lord Foster of Bath replaced Lord Clement-Jones as a member.

 

House of Commons

  • Jo Cox, Labour MP for Batley and Spen, died on 16th June.
  • Rosena Allin-Khan was elected as the new Labour MP for Tooting on 16th June.
  • Backbench Business Committee - Bob Blackman, Kevin Foster, Wendy Morton, Gavin Newlands, David Nuttall, Jess Phillips and William Wragg appointed as members.
  • Women and Equalities Committee – Gill Furniss appointed as member, replacing Siobhan McDonagh.
  • Justice Committee – Chris Elmore appointed as member, replacing Andy McDonald.
