  • Department for Business and Trade – John Slinger MP appointed as UK trade envoy to the Republic of Korea. 
  • Ministry of Defence – Ministry of Defence Police: Simon Dobinson appointed as deputy chief constable from May. UK Hydrographic Office: Mark Barclay appointed as non-executive chair. 
  • Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs  – Office for Environmental Protection: Dame Helen Ghosh appointed chair replacing Julie Hill
  • Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office – Nick Pickard appointed as Ambassador to the Republic of Austria from July, succeeding Lindsay Skoll who will become principal of Jesus College, Oxford University. Dawn McKen appointed as Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina from August, succeeding Julian Reilly who will be transferring to another Diplomatic Service appointment. Nerys Jones appointed as Ambassador to Montenegro from August, succeeding Dawn McKen who will be transferring to another Diplomatic Service appointment. Stephen Hickey appointed as Ambassador to the Italian Republic and non-resident Ambassador to the Republic of San Marino from June, succeeding Lord Llewellyn of Steep who transferred to a new appointment as FCDO political director and director-general political. 
  • Department of Health and Social Care – Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency: Jason Bonander appointed as chief digital and technology officer
  • Ministry of Justice – Lord Justice Snowden appointed as a justice of the Supreme Court. Civil Justice Council: Andrew Brookes appointed as housing nember for three years; Naomi Creutzfeldt appointed academic member for three years; Frances Harrison appointed consumer member for three years; Owain James appointed Welsh representative member for three years; Jane Portas appointed insurance member for three years; Tim Sawyer appointed small and medium-sized enterprises member for three years; Nigel Teasdale appointed solicitor member for three years. Criminal Cases Review Commission:  Joelle Black, Maxine Cole, Jared Ficklin, Andrew Hoyle, James Lucas and Martha Spurrier appointed as commissioners for three years until 6 April 2029. 
  • HM Treasury – Financial Conduct Authority: Jonathan Peddie and Raymond Cox KC appointed as members of the Regulatory Decisions Committee. Government Internal Audit Agency: Andy Brittain appointed as interim chief executive.
